We purchased our first boxer puppy in 1981 and named her, "Indian
Summer's Cheyenne". The kennel
name was derived from a part
boxer mix I had named, "Indian
Summer". To this day I have be
smitten with the breed and have
not owned another breed since
that day in 1981. The breed is
a smart, loyal, loving and
desires little in return.
Our boxers are involved in
therapy at a convalescent
hospital in Simi Valley and they
bring a smile to people that
have little reason to smile most
of the day. They are a welcome
sight to all the residents every
time we come for a visit.
We have our dogs active in
therapy, agility and they have
their Herding Instinct
Certificates.
